About me

Hi, I’m Carolin

My Hairdressing career started over 15 years ago in a small town in Germany where I was born and raised. During my 3 years of training I learned all the essential skills from blowdrying, to cut/colouring and up-styling. That’s where my love for hair began.

After my training I decided to leave Germany behind and moved to England where I perfected my English and met my Irish Husband. As love can make you do crazy things I decided to follow him and move to Dublin. Oops!

Knowing that I wanted to work with the best in the industry I started working for Toni & Guy. In my 8 years working for the company I gained invaluable experience in hairdressing such as cutting, styling, teaching/training (both in and outside of the salon) and working alongside some of Ireland’s and the UK’s leading stylists. Overall it was a incredible experience.

As cutting hair was my passion I started to discover the love of weddings. I love working with brides and their loved ones and helping the bride make their day that bit more special is truly humbling. I am always excited to meet the bride for the first time and hear about their love stories. Nothing is more satisfying than to help complete their dream look and then seeing the bride being truly happy and feeling beautiful on their big day.

During my years of training I became skilled in classic up-styles such as chignon, French roll, the ballerina bun, as well as the more complicated look such as soft up and down styles. My personal favourites are the loose texture braids such as classic braid, waterfall braid and a twist braid.

I decided to leave salon work in 2016 and work from my home studio where I now do all my hair trials, haircare and haircuts. So please have a look through my gallery and if you see something you like please get in touch, I can’t wait to hear from you.
